How are the used brush heads recycled?

Every order includes a self-addressed envelope. Store your used brush heads in it and once it’s full drop it in the mail.

We pay a commercial recycler to recycle them into plastic pellets, which are then sold for use in other products.

Love Nada!

I love my nada toothbrush, the soft bristles are actually soft enough for my sensitive gums and I honestly feel like I’ve never had a better clean! Customer service was also really kind when I reached out to them. Will recommend Nada to anyone looking for a good toothbrush :) the intentional design is beautiful and functional!

Dentists recommend Soft bristles. For this reason, we suggest you buy our Soft bristles. If you can’t get used to them, then choose Medium when you re-order.

The brush heads are made of Polypropylene, which is safe for oral use and 100% recyclable.

Our bristles are made of nylon. They’re special, soft tapered bristles, which penetrate 17% deeper between your teeth than regular bristles.

Unlike traditional 'flat-cut' bristles, 'floss-tip' bristles are tapered, or pointed at the tips. They are 17 times thinner than standard bristles, meaning they reach deeper between your teeth and gums for a better, gentler clean.

We collect the used brush heads and send them to be commercially recycled, where the bristles are removed from the brush heads and both are recycled into plastic pellets. These pellets are then sold for use in new products.
