We pay a commercial recycler to turn them into plastic pellets, which are then sold for use in other products.

The handle is great the brushes are just as advertised. My son has enjoyed the brushes aswell so I bought him own and he is now brushing more so that's great.

Long lasting, basically indestructible AND not as heavy as you think. Never buying any other toothbrush. I wish the other colors were in stock tho.
