How are the used brush heads recycled?

Every order includes a self-addressed envelope. Store your used brush heads in it and once it’s full drop it in the mail.

We pay a commercial recycler to recycle them into plastic pellets, which are then sold for use in other products.

Love My Nada Toothbrush

I bought a Nada toothbrush as part of my quest to reduce my plastic consumption, loved that you could return the replaceable heads to be recycled. But beyond that, it’s just a great toothbrush. I like the soft heads, they clean really well. The aluminum handles are a nice weight. Even a tongue scraper! I highly recommend.

The brush heads arrived quickly but I noticed that the end of the brush head is a bit wiggly in the opening in the brush handle. This does not in any way affect my toothbrushing. It was just something I noticed and it was probably just a “one off”.

Soft bristles and luxe handle

Love the replaceable soft bristle heads. The handle feels so luxe compared to traditional toothbrushes. I've been gifting these to family and they are all impressed. Mainly it feels so fancy to have such a simple, but nice product.

Soft ‘Floss-Tip’ Bristles

Dentists recommend Soft bristles. For this reason, we suggest you buy our Soft bristles. If you can’t get used to them, then choose Medium when you re-order.

The brush heads are made of Polypropylene, which is safe for oral use and 100% recyclable.

Our bristles are made of nylon. They’re special, soft tapered bristles, which penetrate 17% deeper between your teeth than regular bristles.

Unlike traditional 'flat-cut' bristles, 'floss-tip' bristles are tapered, or pointed at the tips. They are 17 times thinner than standard bristles, meaning they reach deeper between your teeth and gums for a better, gentler clean.

We collect the used brush heads and send them to be commercially recycled, where the bristles are removed from the brush heads and both are recycled into plastic pellets. These pellets are then sold for use in new products.
