How are the used brush heads recycled?

Every order includes a self-addressed envelope. Store your used brush heads in it and once it’s full drop it in the mail.

We pay a commercial recycler to recycle them into plastic pellets, which are then sold for use in other products.

Best Toothbrush for me!

First of all, I love the fact that this has less of an impact on the environment.
Secondly, I selected the soft head toothbrush, and the compact size and softness is perfect, as I have a small mouth and have a heavy hand when brushing.
These toothbrush heads are very thorough when it comes to cleaning your teeth!
I love the fact that you can send the used heads back to be recycled.
What ISN'T there to love about Nada Toothbrushes?!?!??

I ordered this to simplify toothbrush replacements for my family, and like that it's just the head that need replacing for a similar price to my former favorite toothbrush, but then I was pleasantly surprised by how well this toothbrushes clean. Something about the shape of the bristles gets my teeth cleaner than other toothbrushes and easier to help brush my kids' teeth too. We love them.

So much less plastic!

First off — I just love the way this brush handle feels, so heavy and high quality. Once you have the handle, replacing the heads not only saves me plastic waste but also money. I appreciate the soft brushes for my sensitive gums.

Love the recyclability as well as the colour choices and the feel of the handle. I got the soft bristles which are very soft. I might switch to medium at night and soft in the morning. Nice product!

The brush heads are made of Polypropylene, which is safe for oral use and 100% recyclable.

Our bristles are made of nylon. They’re special, soft tapered bristles, which penetrate 17% deeper between your teeth than regular bristles.

Unlike traditional 'flat-cut' bristles, 'floss-tip' bristles are tapered, or pointed at the tips. They are 17 times thinner than standard bristles, meaning they reach deeper between your teeth and gums for a better, gentler clean.

We collect the used brush heads and send them to be commercially recycled, where the bristles are removed from the brush heads and both are recycled into plastic pellets. These pellets are then sold for use in new products.
